PRE-NOVA HISTORY…

Before NOVA CHEER there was CCA Cheerleading team…

Established in 1999. CCA first competition was in 2001 at the BCA Nationals at Loughborough where they came 2nd and won a bid to USA. In 2004 CCA headed to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina USA to compete in the CanAm championships. In 2005 CCA became Grand National Champions and won another bid for the USA. In 2006 CCA flew to Orlando Florida where they competed in the COA championships.  CCA flew home with a total of 33 trophies including first and second place, this was a fantastic achievement for the whole squad. In 2010 CCA marked their 10 year anniversary with a big celebration evening with current and former squad members, coaches, family and friends.

BRIEF OVERVIEW

BCA Nationals, our first competition 2000, gained 2nd place and won a bid to USA.
CanAm championships, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina USA
Grand National Champions and won bid for the USA.
COA championships, Orlando Florida 33 trophies including first and second place
Appeared on TV for S4C, BBC, ITV and Britains Got Talent.
Supported the local community by appearing at many local events.
